We had a great weekend fishing the Grand Haven Offshore Challenge with Escape this past weekend! Turned out profitable in many aspects! Saturday was tough! 6-10 ft waves, we took a wave over the side of the boat that lapped over us all in the cockpit! The tournament got called and we only had a 4 hour window to fish. Still ended up ok, but today was definitely our best catching 3 decent size fish, leading to a WIN for the Largest Trout category, for both 333 & the over all composite! We also won 1st in the 333- 3 Largest fish over a 2 day span. We also won 1st overall for the largest fish caught in the tournament! Was a fun and memorable weekend and we all worked great as a team!

We had a great day fishing for the Merle Morris Memorial tournament yesterday! It's always a fun one! TIGHTLINE took home a 1st in Big King Salmon & also a 1st in the overall! 5 fish at 62 lbs! Big king was 19.05!

Oh it was great to be back out on the water today & enjoying some sunshine! 31 degrees this morning made for a chilly start but we're glad we went! 2 nice Kings and 10 Coho, plus we threw a few back for size! Great 1st day! So thankful for our new SITKA Gear

Well this was cool! TIGHTLINE made the front page of the Grand Haven Tribune for the biggest King Salmon caught in the Offshore Challenge!
