There’s something extra special about photographing a love story in a place where part of that story began. 🤍

Grace and Jordan chose this little creek for their engagement session because it’s where they spent some of their first dates together. Now it gets to be part of another chapter in their story. 💍

Grace was also one of the first people we met after moving to Somerville. She takes such wonderful care of our home and our two crazy Frenchies when we’re away, and somewhere along the way, she became more than our dog sitter. She became someone we’re very grateful to have in our lives.

So when she shared that she and Jordan were engaged, I offered to take their engagement session, and she excitedly said yes; it meant a little more to me than just another session behind the camera. I’m so thankful you trusted me to capture this moment in time for the two of you.

Grace, you are going to make an absolutely beautiful bride, and I cannot wait to watch you and Jordan say “I do.” 🤍

Big news… 💛
My dear friend and incredibly talented photographer, Val (formerly Valerie Ozella Photography), is starting an exciting new chapter and moving to Tennessee!
While we will miss her so much here in Solano County, I know she’s going to do amazing things in her new home. It has been such a joy to watch her capture so many beautiful moments over the years.
To all of my wonderful clients—thank you. I will truly miss each and every one of you. It has been such an honor to be part of your lives, documenting your milestones—from engagements and weddings to babies, graduations, and everything in between. Watching your families grow has meant more to me than words can express.

Big life update 💛
I’ll be moving out of state in mid-April or early May, depending on when our new house is completed. While this next chapter is exciting, leaving behind such an incredible community is truly bittersweet.
