Photographing events has always been a great experience for me. To tell a story, the feeling of an event with candid images is not always the easiest thing to do. But I take great pleasure at the task and always welcome the opportunity.

Thank you to Sram, Evil Bikes and Tripp for putting this suspension clinic together. Great people, great knowledge and of course great bikes will always equal tons of fun even if Mother Nature has other ideas.

Photographing with film creates a different emotion for me. I’m not 100% sure what it is. Maybe it’s the chemical process of burning light to emulsion. Maybe it’s the developing process with the chemicals or maybe it’s the connection i feel to my family who paved the way for me and gave the innate love for photography before I ever picked up a camera.
Coming from the largest family of photographers from 1839-1936 is such a great honor. I guess it feels like I’m continuing a legacy that was started before my time. And every time I release the shutter I keep my ancestors just a little closer.

I love creating portraits of people that are near and dear to me. The venerability they show to me to create an image is a sign of great trust and connection. And I am always grateful for that one moment.
All images were created on a Nikon F 35mm with either Ilford Delta 100(20yr old film) or Konica BW 25iso from Japan film.

R.I.P Riche. You are truly missed brother.

2026 is the Year of the Fire Horse, beginning on February 17, 2026, and lasting until February 5, 2027. As a rare, once-every-60-year combination, this year symbolizes intense energy, passion, speed, and major transformation. The Horse is associated with being hardworking, independent, and energetic, while the Fire element brings amplified boldness, ambition, and potential for rapid change.

For those born in the Year of the Snake, (that’s me) the Year of the Horse (such as 2026) is a time to translate 2025’s inner reflection into external action, bringing momentum to stagnant projects. While the fast-paced Horse energy contrasts with the Snake’s strategic nature, it offers excellent opportunities for career advancement, financial gain, and bringing long-term plans to fruition.

LET’S GO!!!!!!

All images are available purchase. Bringing horse energy into your home is believed in Feng Shui and Vastu Shastra to enhance energy, success, luck, and prosperity. Horses represent strength, endurance, courage, and fast-moving “yang” energy, which can invigorate a space and promote career growth.

DM me if you would like to bring energy and success into your home.

Teloniks is no joke and these riders make it look easy. I love to ride this trail but when I don’t have the bike, photographing these riders is just as much fun.

Get to Know Me

Ryan Duclos has been documenting his adventures and vision through his photography for nearly 20 years.

He’s pushed the limits with thrill-seeking, adrenaline-pumping helicopter rides, found inspiration desert camping under a blanket of stars, and created one-of-a-kind memories capturing the true personalities in the friends, family and clients he works with.

Picking up the camera came naturally as a teenager, and soon he learned why. Ryan discovered a lineage of professional photographers; the largest known family of photographers in the world, leaving their mark from 1839 to 1936.

He’s developed his craft over the years, focusing on editorial and sports photography. Ryan is now sharing the tradition to his son Oscar, who is becoming a well-skilled photographer at the young age of 5.
