August just about did me in y’all. 😅 September is already off to a busy start but I’m excited for all my kids to be in school, college football Saturdays and it not feeling like the surface of the sun outside. Overdue for this post because it’s just so full of goodness. Our families packed up and headed down to Irwin Farm in Unadilla (middle Georgia) during a heat wave in July. It was a full afternoon and much like any time I get with my best friend Breanna, too short. But it was so worth it. Not only did my kids have a blast but we got to capture all the fun, beautiful and chaotic moments that come with having four boys. There’s so much that I could say about my friends Breanna and Brandon, like Breanna’s affection for others and community and Brandon’s humility and generosity. Or how God knew exactly what he was doing when he surprised this loving family with twin boys two years ago. However, I’m going to let the photos speak for themselves. Full. Beautiful. And wild.

Sweet baby A and I have at least one thing in common: forehead wrinkles. Thankfully, they’re much cuter on her than they are on me.

Photographing this precious girl was pure joy from start to finish. I caught the sweetest little smile when I told Mom and Dad we’d head outside next—turns out being outdoors is one of her favorite places to be. She didn’t mind the hot, humid July afternoon one bit! We spent the sweetest time together, and I even got to capture a few photos with her energetic and proud fur sister Roxy. It was hard to pick my favorites from this gallery. There’s a calm about sessions with new parents that is full of peace and intention.
