📸 Happy 2026!

As we head into the new year, I want to take a moment to share my vision and a few updates for the year ahead.

Photography is a creative outlet for me—something I truly love. I’m not here to get rich or rely on this to pay my bills. My goal is simple: every session should feel real, relaxed, and comfortable, and every gallery should reflect quality and care.

Trust and honesty matter deeply to me. With everything happening in the photography world lately, I want to be intentional about protecting both you as my client (and friend) and myself as a photographer. Clear expectations help us all have a great experience. Here’s what booking with me in 2026 will look like:

What to Expect Moving Forward

🖊️ Contracts will be required for every session and must be signed at the time of booking.

💰 A deposit will be required based on the session type—this ensures we’re both respecting each other’s time.

❤️ I’m a SAHM, and while photography is a passion and creative outlet, my family always comes first. I’ve seen too many photographers burn out from overbooking and overcommitting, and I don’t want that. I love photography and want to keep that passion alive—for myself and for you.

Changes for 2026🫶🏻

⏰ No more timed sessions
Timed sessions just don’t work for me. Instead, pricing will be based on session type and what you’re wanting to capture. Most sessions last about 30–45 minutes unless we’re traveling to multiple locations or doing outfit changes.
If we wrap up in 25 minutes—great. If we’re vibing, getting killer shots, and end up shooting for an hour—also great. I hate the pressure of watching the clock, and I want you to feel relaxed and natural. Sometimes the best photos happen once everyone warms up (especially kids… who will absolutely do their own thing 😅).

🐰 🎄 🍁 Styled Minis (with time slots)
Our community is blessed with so many talented photographers, which is amazing—but it also means styled minis can be a gamble. While I’m not saying I’ll never do them, you just won’t see many from me this year.

⚾️ 🏈 📣 Sports Photography
Last season with JR Pro Football was such a blast, and I loved capturing your kiddos in action! This season, my family and I have decided to step back a bit and soak up more time together. That said—you’ll still see me with my camera at games from time to time. If I catch a great shot of your kid, I’ll absolutely share it. And if you’d like action photos at a specific game, we can always schedule that!

Creative Focus for 2026

This year, I’m leaning even more into creativity and lifestyle storytelling, including:

Hey friends! I wanted to share that I am officially no longer accepting bookings for 2025. I’ll be taking a much-needed break to spend time with my family, enjoy the holidays, and make some memories of my own. ❤️ I’ll be back and booking again in Spring 2026!
