I can't even begin to express how much I love these images.

This shoot lived in my head long before it existed in front of my camera.

A couple of weeks ago, I found this black silk dress while shopping. The second I saw it, I knew I had to create something with it. I didn't have a model, a location, or even a plan yet. A few days later, I already had a session booked with this sweet girl. I reached out talking about my idea and I knew there was a chance she'd want something else. Instead, she trusted me and my vision, and I'm so thankful she did. The dress reminded me of one from a dream I had, a girl standing alone by the water in a flowing black dress. Dark, cinematic, and quietly beautiful. I couldn't stop thinking about it, so I brought it to life. Watching something that only existed in my imagination become real is one of the most rewarding feelings as an artist.

This is the kind of work I want to keep creating. Work that tells a story. Work that makes people stop for a second and feel something. 🖤
