Oh hi!
It’s taken me 8 days in to collect myself, but Happy New Year, friends!🎉 If you’re new here, I’m Hannah…and this is my family☺️Every year around this time I re-introduce myself for the new folks and tell y’all a little something about me. This year though, I’d like to go a different direction and share the behind the scenes story of these photos of my family: Simply put, it was a disaster😂When you add a “busy” 18 month old baby and a 9 month old giant puppy (that likes to run away on busy streets) into your photos, chaos is bound to ensue. is a saint and a magician!😂I walked away from this session thinking there wouldn’t be any good shots…not because I didn’t trust our photographer, but because my session didn’t go the way I’d planned it to in my head. But look! I cried when I got our gallery back because these are some of the best photos of my family…I will cherish them forever and I’ll always laugh when I tell the story of what a disaster it was behind the scenes.
Why am I telling you this??
During all of my sessions in 2022, the most commonly asked question was, “Did we get ANY good shots?” Family photos, whether at a wedding or during a family session are STRESS, no question. But I promise to always get you the good shots…the kind that make you cry when you open your gallery and realize all the outfit planning, schedule rearranging, bribing and clenched smiles were worth it.☺️
