September is here, and before we know it, our Fall Baby Shower will be here too!

My Saturdays are completely booked this month, so I’m wondering if anyone would be willing to come out for a Sunday or Friday evening session. I would truly love to raise as much as possible for the families who will be attending this shower. Let me know if you'd be interested.

Every session helps provide diapers and other essential baby items for families who need a little extra support.

📍Location: Bellville, Texas
🩵Time Slot: 5 to 10 minutes.
💚Families get one pose. Children (only) will have a fall set up.
All proceeds will go toward the Fall Baby Shower

What makes a great photograph?

It isn't always perfect lighting.
It isn't always everyone smiling.
It isn't always perfectly posed.

Sometimes it's emotion.

A photograph that makes you remember exactly how you felt in that moment will always be more valuable than a photograph that was simply perfect.

I love event photography because I get a front-row seat to people's joy.

I get to watch families reunite. Friends celebrate. Children dance. Couples fall in love all over again. And I get to freeze pieces of it in time.

That's a pretty wonderful job to have.

When I'm photographing an event, I'm not just looking for people smiling at my camera.

I'm watching.

For the grandmother wiping away a tear.
For the little boy dancing in the corner.
For the couple holding hands when they think nobody is watching.

Sometimes my favorite photographs aren't the ones where everyone is looking at the camera.

They're the ones where Dad is laughing.
Mom is wiping away a tear.
A child is reaching for Grandma.
Two people are looking at each other like nobody else is in the room.

Those little in-between moments?

Those are the memories.
