The 2025–2026, 110th Sonoita Rodeo Royalty stand as proof that the heart of rodeo still beats strong.

Princess Elizabeth Mayhew
Little Miss Danica Moreno
Sweetheart Kalani Scriven

On July 4th, 1888, the very first rodeo was held in Prescott, Arizona. What began as daily ranch work soon grew into competitions, celebrated for their grit, horsemanship, and the unshakable bond between rider and horse.

By 1910, Bertha Anger became the first ever Rodeo Queen. Rodeo Queens and Princesses were chosen not only for their beauty and poise, but also for their ability to represent the morals of the community, the town’s celebration, and the town’s western heritage, along with their dedication to preserve the traditions that shaped our nation.

Over time, Rodeo Royalty has became a symbol of heritage and the Western way of life. Yet this tradition has grown rarer. Rodeo Royalty is truly a dying breed, with fewer young women stepping up to wear this symbol of legacy and pride.

These four remarkable young ladies the 2025–2026, 110th Sonoita Rodeo Royalty are carrying that legacy with pride. They represent the future of rodeo while honoring its past.

I’m went out to Middle March road around 0030 Sunday thinking I’d get the same view as Dom and I got the night before, I was wrong and shouldn’t have been lazy the night before but, I did capture these itty bit faint parts with the real camera 😂 that I shouldn’t have been lazy about grabbing the night before. 🤦🏽‍♀️.
