First shoot of the season (Milky Way 2-22-26) and it took me 3 hours in 25 degrees and 10-12mph “breeze” lol but I managed to get one fairly decent image of part of the swirl. I would have been able to get a glimpse of the core on camera had the wind not started to pick up…there was just too much lens blur happening. Hopefully next new moon I can have better success with less fighting the elements lol.

Shot in northern AZ 30 ft from my own backyard around 3:00 am this morning using a Canon t7 and my Rokinon 2.8/14mm wide angle lens. F-stop wide open, ISO 3200 and shutter speed set at 28 seconds.
