New Year. New Name.
Same Me.
As I’m entering my third year shooting, I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about where this journey has taken me and where I want it to go next. Over the last few years, photography has become so much more than just a hobby or business to me — it’s become a huge part of who I am. I’ve met incredible people, captured moments I’ll never forget, and built something I’m truly proud of.
With all of that growth, I started realizing I wanted a name that held a little more meaning. Something more personal. Something that felt like me.
Josephine — my great grandma’s name and the name I was blessed to be named after — carries so much love, strength, and meaning in my life. It represents family, legacy, and the people who helped shape me into who I am today. The name has always been part of my story, and now it’s part of my brand too. Even the writing in my logo reflects Josephine in a way that feels personal and intentional — because this name truly represents me. I even have the exact rose and “Josephine” tattooed on my forearm as a daily reminder of where I come from and what matters most to me.
And honestly, it feels far more special than MJP Photography ever did.
This rebrand isn’t about becoming someone different. It’s about growing into who I already am. Same photographer. Same passion. Same creativity. Same girl behind the camera cheering you on during your sessions and obsessing over every tiny detail afterward. Just a name that feels more connected to my heart and the vision I have for this business moving forward.
So with that being said…
