Letā€™s chat about what happens behind the scenes of PBK!

Iā€™ve been asked before, ā€œCan you just send me the RAW (unedited) photos so I donā€™t have to wait 2-3 weeks to get the photos back?ā€ My answer to this will always be, ā€œRespectfully, no.ā€

Trust meā€”you donā€™t want the RAW images. First of all, Iā€™m extremely passionate about the fact that photography is a form of ART. When you select a photographer, chances are you are being drawn to their shooting style, editing style, etc. The fastest part of the photography process is shooting the session. What you donā€™t see is photographers hand editing every single photo they return to you. Iā€™m not slapping filters on my photos and calling them ā€œdone.ā€ I spend COUNTLESS hours editing each session to match my taste in light, color, angles, etc. It really is a form of art.

Below (left) is an example of a RAW photo, uploaded straight from my camera. The photo on the right, is the final/edited photo that was delivered to my client. The difference is night and day.

So, trust me. You donā€™t want the RAW, unedited photos. Waiting for your photographer/artist to do their thing will absolutely be worth the wait. šŸ¤šŸ„°

PBK fam!!!! This is a big deal to me!! Itā€™s really not about the number at all. I just LOVE the fact that we are creating a community where we can celebrate big and small moments for families and share in appreciating Godā€™s most precious creationā€”people.
