There’s something so romantic about portraits taken beneath flowering trees — the soft petals, the gentle light, and the way everything seems to slow down for just a second. This bride’s lace gown was absolutely stunning, with the most beautiful detailed back and a train that flowed perfectly through the grass. ✨

We love capturing the in-between moments that feel natural and effortless — the way couples lean into each other, the calm after the ceremony, and the little pieces of the day they’ll want to remember forever. 🌿

Some engagement sessions are extra special, and this one definitely falls into that category. ❤️

Mackenna and Jackson are getting married next year at the beautiful new wedding venue, The Lumigail, nestled at the base of Cove Mountain in Wears Valley. Even though the venue is still under construction, it was easy to see why they fell in love with it. With sweeping mountain views, open meadows, and a setting designed to showcase the beauty of the Smokies, it's already shaping up to be something truly incredible. 🌿⛰️✨ The Lumigail is being built as a mountain sanctuary for celebrations, blending elegant spaces with breathtaking outdoor views in the heart of Wears Valley.

We spent the morning exploring the future ceremony site, where the mountains created the most gorgeous backdrop for their engagement photos. Afterward, we wandered over to a nearby field, soaking up the sunshine and letting these two simply enjoy being together. 📸💕

And honestly? My favorite part wasn't the scenery.

I've known Jackson since he was a wee little guy. Watching someone you've known for years find their person is one of those sweet reminders of just how quickly time flies. Seeing the way he looks at Mackenna, and seeing how effortlessly they fit together, is something pretty special. ❤️

Mackenna is absolutely stunning, but even more than that, she's fun, positive, kind, and has the kind of energy that makes everyone around her smile. Together, they are the perfect blend of joy, laughter, and genuine connection.

We are so excited to celebrate with these two next year and cannot wait to see their vision come to life at The Lumigail. If their wedding day is anything like their engagement session, it's going to be absolutely magical. ✨
