The mountains are calling.
The San Juan Mountains are such a magical place it is hard to put into words. I grew up in mountains, literally all over the world, but there’s something about the small mountain towns and endless mountain peaks of Western Colorado that makes me feel more at home than anywhere else. I love Arizona, but I always look forward to coming home to the Colorado during the summer to spend time with family and help couples get married out in this epic wilderness.

I have a couple of slots open in July-August if you are interested in a mountain elopement or wedding during my stay!

Getting dressed out in the wild- with help ✅
Vows with the sun rising over the canyons ✅
Not seeing a single soul until the end ✅

Heather and Tyler’s sunrise elopement in Sedona hit all the marks 💕

Sunrise elopements aren’t for everyone, but if you’re up for an early wake up call the payoff is well worth it!

The Superstition Mountains at sunset is one of my favorite views in Arizona.
This area just to the east of Phoenix is what most people think of when they think of the southwest.

Saguaro cacti 🌵 - ✅
Rugged terrain - ✅
Views for miles - ✅

Being so close to Phoenix, the best time to plan an elopement in the Sonoran Desert is late fall to Spring (late October- March) if you are trying to avoid the heat. There is still plenty of time to plan for the end of 2026 or early 2027! Reach out if cacti and desert landscapes are your vibe.

Family, puppers, red rocks, and clear blue skies- that is what Julia and Kyle wanted for their chill Sedona elopement this fall. They began the day getting ready at a local airbnb. Then we head out for the beautiful unity ceremony overlooking the canyons surrounded by their loved ones, sunset portraits, then back for a catered dinner back at the house. By keeping the ceremony and portraits in the same general area we kept the strss of parking to a minimum while maximizing our time soaking in the breathtaking scenery.

Elopements can be as laid back or adventurous as you want them to be… or a mixed day like this one!

There is something so wild and free about a barefoot bride being swept up in gusty wind that makes my photography soul happy ☺️

When you choose mother nature as your backdrop, lean in and embrace the untamed beauty she reigns down on your day!

I’m deep in the editing cave for so many of the incredible stories I’ve had the honor to witness this spring season, but I had to pause for a second and just say… wowzas.

Every time I look through these galleries, I’m hit with this overwhelming wave of gratitude. For the couples who trust me. For the wild, beautiful places I get to work in. For the chance to be there, in the middle of one of the most important chapters of someone’s life. And somehow, I get to call that my job.

But my favorite part? The messages after. Telling me about a new pup, a new home, a new baby. The marriage.

To all if my couples- THANK YOU for this life filled with joyful new chapters. I’ll never take it for granted.
