Back then I wasn’t just taking pictures…
I was trying to find pieces of myself again.

Throw on a dramatic dress, go pose on random cement blocks in Portland, laugh with photographers, make something beautiful for a few hours… and suddenly life didn’t feel so heavy anymore.

Honestly I miss that version of freedom sometimes ✨

Honestly these were taken in my own yard, but photography is so magical sometimes. A camera, good lighting, and a little imagination can turn ordinary places into entire fantasy worlds.

One of my very first glam-style shoots and honestly… this dress made me feel like THAT girl 😭❤️✨

A photographer friend and I randomly decided to shoot on the side of my old house, and somehow it ended up feeling magical anyway.

The dress was actually gifted to me by another photographer who said it matched my hair and my attitude perfectly 😂💃

I don’t fit into it anymore but I still refuse to get rid of it LOL. Some outfits become memories at that point.

It’s kinda wild looking back at old modeling photos and realizing half of them started from heartbreak, insecurity, or trying to feel “good enough” for somebody else.

And somehow… it turned into art. Into confidence. Into self-expression. Into me exploring the world, creating memories, and realizing I didn’t need to become someone else to be beautiful.

Funny how some of the darkest chapters accidentally introduce you to yourself ❤️

Also this photoshoot was SO long ago 😭😂
Younger me really said “Pretend we're in a Coca-Cola commercial” and honestly? I respect the commitment I had…. we even did a little commercial type video lol only God(dress) know where that is now 💀✨

Somewhere between the smoke, the shadows, and the light pouring through…
I remembered that even the dark things can still dance beautifully 🖤✨

Honestly this whole edit feels like the physical form of:
“becoming softer without becoming weak.”

A little mystery.
A little healing.
A little chaos.
A little magic.

And probably way too much dramatic fog for one person 😂

This river has always been one of my favorite little escape spots. Calm water, smooth rocks, hidden agates and crystals, sunshine hitting the water just right… honestly it feels magical there.

Crazy looking back at old modeling photos and realizing I’ve always felt most like myself around nature 🤍
