It’s official-I’ve got a spot lined up to spend a good part of the summer in Central Oregon! It’s been 6+ years since I’ve been able to be around my girls regularly. I left before Isla was even born. There’s so many people I want to reconnect with while I’m in town! I decided to keep going, and I love it. Thank you everyone! It was so fun and helpful to see your responses! I’ve noticed lately that my tendency is to want to stop at the base layer. I don’t even realize it’s the base layer at the time. Painting trees is easy. Painting a bird with this medium takes a lot of time and hurts my brain. Makes me wonder where else in my life I could be pushing further. ☺️

My mom, Hazel Wilkerson, and I did a thing! We teamed up to write and illustrate a children's coloring story book for (and about) little Miss Isla–and it's pretty adorable. It's a story about a little girl, her imaginary friend and a talking horse that discover a secret meadow. As Isla and her friends step into the meadow, they are greeted by a fantastical sight—horses that bear the resemblance of various animals. There's a fun change coming for this page! As most of you know, my architectural work now lives at Quanta Collectiv. Rather than letting this page sit dormant, I'm going to start filling it with my personal projects–photography, art, crafts... I'm turning this into my personal artistic playground. This is also where I will announce upcoming exhibits and speaking engagements. Hi friends! I have posted so many fun projects over at my new IG It would mean a lot to me if you would started following my work over there! 🙏 I will be shooting some pretty amazing residential homes in Bend and around the Puget Sound area this year that you won’t want to miss because I’m rarely posting here now.
