Jules Frazier Western Art

Jules Frazier Western Art Iconic images of the American West and Beyond. Fine art photographs framed and shipped to your home.

Jules Frazier is a photographer from Seattle, known for her editorial style, Iconic images of the American West and Beyond. From rodeo stars to wide open spaces, her fine are prints have been collected internationally by commercial and private collectors as well as featured in magazines and advertising campaigns such as the Montage Hotel, Hyatt, Wrangler, Stetson and Harpers Bazaar. She has won cr

itical acclaim in both the fine arts and commercial spheres, with work reviewed on NPR’s “All Things Considered”. In her photographs of Rodeo Queens, Jules Frazier seeks to represent an unseen side of America and to document the continuing spirit of the Wild West. Frazier happened upon her subject matter during a 1985 trip to Sun Valley, Idaho, during which she spontaneously entered and won a Rodeo Queen competition. Working with vintage film cameras, Frazier began staging images with posed rodeo queens and props to best reveal their spirit and dedication. These traveling female representatives of the rodeo became the subject of her series “Faded Icons of the West.” Though her project was initially voyeuristic, she established herself as a rodeo ethnographer, finding inspiration in the work of such editorial photographers as Richard Avedon, Irving Penn, and Imogen Cunningham.

The American West isn't just a place. It's a feeling.
Wide open roads. Dusty trails. Wild horses. Weathered towns. Quiet moments that tell the biggest stories.
For more than four decades, I've photographed the West as I experience it , not just the iconic landscapes, but the people, textures, light, and fleeting moments that make this region unforgettable.
Each museum-quality fine art photograph is available as a limited edition, created to bring warmth, history, and a timeless sense of adventure into your home.

Three decades on the road. Hundreds of thousands of miles.
This is the rodeo, shot on film and toned in sepia. A bronc rider blurred mid-buck. A roper's saddle at rest. Specialty act girls standing tall on the backs of their horses.
These frames are different because the work behind them was different. Not staged. Not styled. Earned, one arena at a time, over years most people wouldn't give to it.
Editorial. Graphic. Iconic. The real West, held still on film. Available as large scale, oversized fine art prints for the home that wants a true statement piece.
Collect one for your space from renowned photographer Jules Frazier. Limited edition prints, complimentary framing.

Some of my earliest days were spent in Wyoming, sitting on the bumper of my 1960s car with my camera and my buckle on, learning how to see the West before I knew it would become my life's work.
Most of this collection was shot on film. There's a reason I never let go of it. The grain, the light, the patience it demands, it all carries something digital can't fake. The West deserves that kind of honesty.
A posse moving across open country. A road that runs to the horizon. A girl on horseback. These are quiet images, but there's nothing small about them. They hold the real West and the myth of it at the same time, and that tension is the whole point.
This collection is for the home that wants soul over trend. The ranch with history in its walls, the modern loft that needs a little grit, the mountain retreat that knows exactly where it came from. The American West belongs anywhere someone feels the pull of wide-open country.
Iconic, bold, and made by a human eye, never AI. Framed to last.
Which one belongs on your wall?

I’m on trend! Love the new Pantone color for 2026, the story and message behind the choice of the color.
On the full supermoon, I threw a rock over my should to signify releasing outdated thoughts and drinking the full glass of water celebrating my new thinking. (a friend shared this with me that day🤣)
Funny how I woke up the next day to read this from Pantone, a refreshing read
From Pantone...
“Similar to a blank canvas, Cloud Dancer signifies our desire for a fresh start. Peeling away layers of outmoded thinking, we open the door to new approaches. An airy white hue, PANTONE 11-4201 Cloud Dancer opens up space for creativity, allowing our imagination to drift so that new insights and bold ideas can emerge and take shape.”
Laurie Pressman / Vice President, Pantone Color Institute

I’ve always been a lover of white..paint color, fashion, clouds, snow, reflection off of water, it has shaped my work...makes me feel at peace, calm and inspired.

I’m going to drift into this new year...i
