A few years ago I photographed this lovely couple's engagement on Alki, and this summer, they returned with their son and wanted to recreate some of the shots. Flip through to see! (the engagement was taken during sunset while the family photos were in the morning).

Locked in love. It was great to be able to capture this sweet couple's surprise proposal on Alki at the lock wall where they had a special lock.

It was great to see some families again, and meet new family members, along with new families during my Discovery Park wildflower mini-sessions from early July. I hadn't done these mini's in a few years because life can be so busy during the summer, but I forgot how beautiful this place is on a clear evening.

Sneak peek at A & L's joyful intimate wedding at .coffee.co a few weeks ago. Florals designed and made by me, with flowers mostly from my garden.

So great to see this family again in the lupine field back in the spring. I had done mini-sessions here a few years ago but it was a cloudy day, so it was also great to have a clear day this time and a view of Mt. Rainier.

I met this sweet couple last month for a sunset engagement session at Lincoln Park. We started out in the lush forest and ended on the golden beach. Excited to document their wedding this weekend!

I've always thought Alki is one of the best spots in Seattle for proposals so I was excited to shoot my first surprise proposal here. Bouquet made by me.

I love it when families return with new members. Their younger daughter is wearing the same dress that her older sister wore when I first photographed them. This is also one of my favorite wildflower spots that has a brief bloom period but offers so many different colors.

This was such a fun session and special session from early spring this year, documenting the first time these two half-sisters met after finding each other. I love that they brought the bicycle and colorful beach umbrella, even though it was a typical grey PNW day.
