The Humdinger crew- back in action offshore. We did a 2 days trip to Oceanographer's and Lydonia Canyons ~ 130 miles southeast of Cape Cod. We boated 10 yellowfin Tuna up to 100lbs, 2 Mahi and a wahoo to total around ~1000 lbs of fish meat brought to the dock. There were a few blue and white marlin sightings but no hookups.

We saw an incredible amount of life day 1 including:
Sharks: blue, hammerhead, tiger, whaleshark
Whales: finback, snow-white beluga, pilot
Random: Manta ray!

Despite some slow fishing for the first half of day 1, the afternoon and evening got hot as we found life in Lydonia Canyon with only one other boat around. The sword fishing overnight was slow, but tons of squid came to visit as we turned on the underwater lights, as well as 10 storm petrels (birds) landed on the cockpit and hung out with us all night.

Day 2 fishing was slow, but we did get a few marlin knockdowns, boated a wahoo and a Mahi, and hit the road to run 4/5hours home. Great trip!
