A little networking, a little ice skating, some pretty cool cars, and a whole lot of new connections!

October’s Live Like Locals Local Social at Ghost Pirates Ice Cove was definitely not your average networking event. Between meeting local business owners, signing a car, watching hockey on the ice and checking out the Kia vehicles, there was plenty to capture!

We had a blast being part of the evening and getting to document some of the fun from our POV.

A great way to explore Savannah’s railroad history might be to fly right through it.

For another piece of this year’s 912 Day promo for the City of Savannah, we put our FPV drone to work weaving through historic railcars and flying inside the Roundhouse. Tight spaces, narrow openings, and plenty of history made this one a little more technical behind the sticks, and a whole lot of fun to capture.

That’s what we love about FPV. Instead of simply showing you a space from above, we can move through it and give you a perspective that feels like you’re right there with us.

Savannah has no shortage of incredible places and stories to capture. We’re just happy we get to fly through a few of them.

We got to put our FPV setup to work for this year’s Savannah 912 Day promo, capturing a Ford Bronco and Ford Mustang with the kind of movement a traditional camera just can’t replicate.

Full 360° passes around the vehicles, weaving through and between them without any obstructions and turning two parked cars into a shot that feels like it’s moving.

The behind-the-scenes might just look like us standing there with a headset on, but this is what we’re seeing through the goggles, and footage speaks for itself.

That’s the fun of FPV. Precision behind the sticks gives us the freedom to tell the story differently.

The final shot is only part of what goes into getting it right. 🎬

Pack the gear. Load up. Hit the road. Check the location. Plan the shots. Get in the air. Then bring it all together.

For this project, we combined traditional HDR photography, aerial drone photography, and an FPV fly-through to capture the property from three completely different perspectives. The result gives you the polished details from the ground, the bigger picture from above, and an immersive look at what it actually feels like to move through the space.

Opportunities like this remind us exactly why we love to fly.

Getting the chance to fly from perspectives few people ever get to experience, including flying our FPV drone through the ship’s rigging and across her historic deck, the 1877 Tall Ship ELISSA was one of those moments.

As one of only three ships of her kind in the world still actively sailing, her return to Savannah carried even more meaning, revisiting a port she last sailed into back in 1894.

A blast from the past doesn’t begin to describe the experience. Seeing the craftsmanship up close, every rope, mast, and wooden plank tells part of a story that’s been sailing for nearly 150 years - a perspective that connects history with the present in a way that’s hard to put into words.

Projects like this are a reminder that every place, every vessel, and every story has something unique worth capturing. Sometimes all it takes is a different perspective to bring it to life.

Inside, outside, and everywhere the event took us 💥

We had a blast capturing the July Local Social with Live Like Locals at Kia Country of Savannah, taking the drone from the showroom floor to the skies above to showcase the full experience.

From networking with local business owners, line dancing, checking out the latest Kia lineup, and enjoying pizza from Stoner’s Pizza Joint in Pooler, there was something happening in every direction.

One of the best parts of aerial and FPV video is being able to tell the complete story of an event, seamlessly moving from the excitement inside to the atmosphere outside in one continuous experience. It’s a perspective that helps people feel like they were there.
