The original metal monsters Anvil in Millersville, PA! A killer show full of shredding, mayhem, energy, and earnest stories. Also with one of the kindest crowds I've been in.🤟

These guys working tirelessly, have made a life doing what they love despite countless setbacks. I hope when I am older and around my 60s/70s I can stillm be doing what I love.❤️

If anyone has the chance go see them! Go see the documentary. Go support new metal bands and ones that have been around⚡️

The cosmic banjoer himself, Tall Tall Trees

Day 2 of had me on the rooftop lounge of the Perry Lane Hotel. It was a beautiful sunset and windy as s**t. Mike has one of the most unique sounds I've heard in a while. I've never seen someone play a banjo like that before. My heavy metal heart was taken by the banjo wizard and his spacy, experimental folk music.(I think that is the best sentence I've ever written) A true talent.

With it being a year ago since Savannah Stopover Music Festival festival I thought I'd share some photos from those few (and sadly final) shows of last year. Here's a couple of The High Divers

I remember they had such a lively sound and fun presence that brought that small stage alive. It's always enjoyable to see a band that truly enjoys what they're doing.

Continuing with Behind the Photo series: 2 years ago I broke my left foot the day of a concert. At the time I didn't know my foot was actually broken so I just wrapped it up, put it in a boot, and learned how to use crutches. Nothing is gonna stop me from seeing a concert.

Evening rolls around, I drive an hour to get to Savannah. I'm getting that pre show buzz. The one you get when you listen to the band you're about to see in the car. The lineup was Eyes Set to Kill, Fever 333, and Nothing More. So I arrive at the Stage on Bay, crutch my way inside and find a spot in the crowd. Now I was fully prepared to stand with my crutches the whole time. HOWEVER, after the 2 opening acts these people at the concert let me scoot forward closer to the stage(I guess because they saw me kinda struggling to take pictures and balance myself) Then they insisted on getting me a chair. I said I was ok but these nice people got security to get me a chair to sit and watch the show on the side of the stage. Thus giving me an opportunity to take this amazing picture and more. I couldn't believe it. I like lost my s**t during "Go to War" and "Don't Stop." Afterwards the security guard told me he thought I was going to break my neck from headbanging so hard.😄

As I hobbled out of the venue, some nice man carried me on his back to my car. I proceeded to scream to myself in my car trying to figure out what this whole day was. I ate cold McDonalds french fries and drove home to take this picture of myself.

A week later I went to the doctor and they said you broke 1 bone in your foot. Speaking of things I couldn't believe, I can't believe I broke a bone from getting off of my bathroom counter(because I used to sit there doing my makeup) and my foot was still asleep. As I got down, I took 2 steps and rolled my left foot. I had to wear a boot for a long time. That's the uncool side of this story.

Hi y'all, with all this free time I have now I'd like to start sharing some behind the scenes and cool stories I have connected to some pictures I take. I'll try to do this once a week but here's a simple first one.

I took these of myself in February of this year. After my roomate moved out I couldn't help but see an empty room as an opportunity. So from 5pm to 2am I walked around trying to figure out lighting while pulling things from my room to set up as backdrops. I wanted everything to look very 60s/70s. Now these pictures are edited and what I want people to see but I took a picture of my whack camera set up because of how ridiculous it looked managing this.

Prior to taking these I didn't feel very inspired for 8 months to do any makeup or portrait looks(which is all I used to do when I was younger). But if you have an idea you should act on it. I waited until it bothered me so much then I did it. While doing it, I wanted to give up because I usually use natural light and never worked with just artificial but after many hours and a few snacks I finally came up with something I liked. So never give up🌈

I so very much enjoy seeing people who genuinely like what they're doing, what they are creating. Listening to each of these bands jam and getting people fu***ng pumped up is the best. I came in knowing one band and left wanting to listen them all. Not too bad for a last minute opportunity. 🤘

"Once Bitten, Twice Shy" Here's a shot of Great White from the Tybee Island Pirate Festival. I am so thankful to have had such an amazing opportunity. This is truly what I love and care about doing. Middle school me would have never thought I'd be able to do much more than attend a show from one of these bands on my walls.

The one and only Paul Stanley. I took my mom who back in the 70s was supposed to go see KISS but her friend fell through a ceiling so they couldn't go. Now on their final tour, it felt important for both of us to go.
