The following video will show the difference between tripod‑only audio, handheld camera audio, clean‑feed audio, and mixed audio.

It also explains why I’m insistent on being kept in the loop about who the DJ is, what cables I’ll need, and why I push for direct audio connections. I care about the final product, and I care about giving my clients the best quality I can.

Some videographers settle for “good enough,” and that’s fine when they’re doing the best they can with what they have. But it’s completely different when someone is capable of doing better and chooses not to. I refuse to take shortcuts. I will always do my best to deliver the best.

Redundancy is more important than you could ever imagine. One of the recorders went out during this, and luckily I had a second recorder set up and the mics were able to pick up the missing audio.

One of the most repeated lines in PR and marketing is: “There’s no such thing as bad publicity” or “All publicity is good publicity.” This line supposedly said by P.T. Barnum is one many business owners repeat this because they genuinely believe it, or were taught to believe it.

But what many people need to understand is that this mantra is only partially true, and it depends heavily on your industry and product.

In entertainment, it can hold up. Think about Elvis Presley and his “provocative” dance moves, or a food so spicy people say, “It can’t be that bad,” and suddenly everyone wants to try the challenge. In those cases, all publicity really can be good publicity, because curiosity drives attention.

But when you’re building a brand, it’s not necessarily true. Healthcare centers don’t want bad publicity because it erodes trust. Many other businesses rely on trust to survive and thrive. Negative attention in these fields doesn’t spark curiosity, it damages credibility.

What gets publicized about your business shapes your reality. For example, if you open a bar and it becomes known as a place where fights break out, you’ll start attracting people who want to stir up trouble just to live up to that reputation. If that narrative isn’t changed, it becomes a self‑fulfilling prophecy, pulling in exactly the kind of crowd that harms your business.

Your public image attracts the clientele your publicity reflects, good or bad. The story people hear about your business becomes the story they expect when they walk through your door.

Don’t let bad publicity control your business, be in control of the narrative yourself.

Liberty County businesses, don’t let fast‑talkers push you into narrow, one‑note marketing plans. A lot of the people giving advice around here have never left Hinesville, never run a real campaign, and are just repeating whatever they heard from social media “gurus” who are only successful on social media, not in the field they claim to teach.

These local “experts” don’t understand how big, layered, and strategic real marketing actually is. They don’t understand psychology, they don’t understand consumer behavior, and they don’t understand that chasing trends is not a marketing strategy.

You’re spending time, money, and energy listening to people who have never participated in a full campaign from planning to ex*****on. If someone’s entire knowledge base comes from TikTok, that’s a sign they don’t know what they’re doing. That’s exactly why I bring in research from business schools, psychology, and industry studies, because marketing is a field where your knowledge has to stay current and grounded in real data.

Yes, you absolutely need a social media presence and social media styled videos. But you also need clean, professional advertising. Anyone telling you that you don’t is showing you they don’t understand how the industry works. If social media alone was enough, the biggest brands in the world wouldn’t still invest in professional creative, paid media, and multi‑channel campaigns.

Real marketing is a out strategy, psychology, design, storytelling, and consistency. Don’t let people with limited experience shrink your potential.

Billboards and TikTok might feel like complete opposites, but they actually share more in common than you’d expect. One is over a hundred years old, the othe...
