I got to take yearbook photos in Annandale, MN for Nora, an exchange student from Spain, and she got her first taste of Minnesota “cold.” 🥶 Inbetween taking photos and moving locations, you betcha her jacket was zipped up, her hands were in her pockets, but she was still smiling through it all! ❄️
Even while shivering, she powered through like a total pro, and we ended up with some really great photos that show just how vibrant and authentic she is. Capturing this little slice of her Minnesota adventure was such a joy! 📸💛

Some days remind you why love is the greatest story we get to tell, pure magic. The kind of day where love lingers in the air and you cant help but get caught up in it. Darren + Halley’s wedding was one of those unforgettable days.

I’ve known Darren for a while. We first met through family friends back in middle/high school, and over the years our paths have crossed several times. And now here we are, and I had the absolute pleasure of capturing his wedding day, this time with Halley by his side. 💛

Getting to photograph these two together was such a joy. The way they look at each other, the way they laugh together; you can just tell they’ve found their person. Their day was absolutely overflowing with emotion. From the sweetest tears to the biggest belly laughs, you could feel their love in every single moment.

The setting was picture-perfect right on the lake, and the celebration was everything a wedding should be: beautiful, fun, and unforgettable. When I left, the dance floor was still packed, and everyone was GETTING. DOWN. I know the party only got better from there!

I walked away with such a full heart, so grateful I got to capture Darren + Halley’s love story on the most special day of their lives.💛

This wedding was extra special for me to capture. Nikki UC Carrera was two years younger than me in school and in the same grade as my sister, so watching her walk down the aisle and marry Mitch felt like such a full-circle moment! 💍

A few years ago, I met Anneliese Jo McBroom while furniture shopping—she was actually the salesperson who sold me my couch and bed! What started as a simple shopping trip turned into such a sweet connection. Since then, we’ve kept in touch—I’ve taken her headshots when she became a realtor, and we’ve crossed paths at weddings and community events.

From the very beginning, Anneliese told me I’d be the one to capture her wedding someday. So when she got engaged and just a few days later I got the text, my heart was so full. To say I was looking forward to this wedding is an understatement.

The love between Matt and Anneliese is something you can truly see—it radiates in every smile, every glance, every moment. Being able to capture their engagement session and their wedding day was such an honor.💕
