Challenged myself to take some performance car photos with just my iPhone (if only because I forgot to bring my camera). Super pleased with how these came out. Just goes to show, the best camera is the one you’re using. Sometimes it’s the one in your pocket.

And with that 2020 is coming to a close folks! Not that 2021 will instantly be better but I have a good feeling about the future. I have some plans in the works to totally revamp the way I deliver content and I couldn’t be more excited to share it all in due time. I’m ready to hit the ground running in the new year and I’m thankful to have such amazing people in my life who have my back along the way. For the handful of hours we have left in the year, it’s time to sit back, relax by the fire, have a drink or two if that’s your sort of thing, and give a final goodbye to the crazy year that was 2020. Now we all finally get to say it. See ya next year!

Been messing around with some product photography and I gotta say, pretty happy with how this one came out. I’ve been in a massive creative rut the past couple months and this is the first time I’ve actually been excited about shooting and editing anything in a bit. Good to be back.

There’s something about getting lost among the stars. Time seems to fall away as the night sky swirls overhead and for a moment you’re completely free.

These times we’re living in are strange and that’s putting it lightly. I put together this short film “A Changed World” discussing my thoughts and feelings regarding the global pandemic. I believe it’s important to share these with other people now no matter how little or how greatly the pandemic has affected yo.

I hope this reminds us all to take nothing for granted and, most importantly, to take care of one another as well as ourselves.

Bouncing around from wedding to wedding has been amazing and not just as an excuse to dress fancy. Listening to other people voice their love for one another is something special and everyone does it differently. If you ask me, I don’t think you should try to describe love with other words. Nothing ever seems to describe quite right. It’s just love and that’s enough for me.

After a grueling 7 month season I’m thankful to be on vacation for awhile. I’m finally able to work on new projects and I feel inspired again. Inspired to create, inspired to explore, and inspired to travel.

I will never forget this road trip last winter. I’ve been thinking of it more and more as the weather gets cooler. Driving for 15 hours plus in a day seems awful to some but I never got tired of it. It’s hard to be bored with views like this. Over 5,000 miles in 10 days and I’d do it again in a heart beat.

Life and death in Alaska is something to witness. It happens in a matter of weeks. The streams become full of life and shortly after they are rank with death. It’s a reminder of how quick things can change. Life happens whether or not we’re paying attention. Don’t get too comfortable.

As I write this it’s raining outside, I can hear it hitting the roof. It’s a little chilly and the fog has rolled in. I can feel Fall getting closer. Here’s to days spent walking through corn fields and wearing jackets again.

There is nothing quite like feeling free. Feeling like you have nowhere to be. For the first time in a long time I felt that yesterday. The crisp air hitting my face while we walk the beach. The sense of a journey just unfolding. If I have taken anything away from moving to Alaska it is this; you’re never going to be 100% sure you’re doing it right. You’ll question yourself. Doubt will creep it’s way into your thoughts, but that is NORMAL. We wouldn’t be human if we did have a little bit of fear. The hard part is moving past it to see the amazing possibilities on the other side and like I said, this is just the beginning of the journey. I’ll see you on the other side of fear.
