I was born in Sarasota, Florida and found a love for photography in high school. After learning B&W darkroom, I enrolled in the photography program at Daytona State College, moving on to color processing, slides, studio lighting, and the beginning of digital processing. As the first student in my school to have a DSLR, I was fortunate to learn the classic processes before moving to a screen. After
school I managed photo studios for a decade or more, preferring to edit and do color management to shooting. My love of photography lies in landscapes, using large scale panoramic techniques I have been evolving over the past 2 decades. Those have been very private things for me since I started. It was never about sharing my creations, it was about pushing myself to go find the shot and learn from my mistakes. Since most of my shots compile around 30 images, it is easy for a flaw in one to ruin hours of shooting and editing. For 2023, I aim to start sharing my imagery for those who can't ever make it to the places I push myself to go. Join in my journey as I push myself to do the next thing that makes me really uncomfortable - putting myself out there for other people. I'd for sure rather be hidden on a mountain behind my camera but comfort isn't growth!
