I am so blessed to have been a very small part of I Belong Day!

What a fabulous day we had just one week ago for our latest I Belong Day! Perfect temperatures and a great location in Northern Virginia gave us a chance to meet 9 amazing and hopeful kids ready to take the next step in their journey. Our volunteers and creatives brought an excitement and energy to the event and every child left knowing their were important, special and most importantly, loved. Thank you to the following partners-in-change who made it all possible!

And a huge THANK YOU to our wonderful volunteers from Project Belong Virginia, Fairfax Church and other special friends who played such a pivotal role in last week's event. All of the puzzle pieces came together for a fun day for these youth to enjoy first-hand the beauty of nature and the care of additional supportive adults in their lives.

Each child received a professional photo shoot and will have a personalized video created for them based on the footage captured last week - tools to aid them in their adoption recruitment.

Our hope of course is that the lives of the youth who participate in our I Belong Project video shoots will be forever changed and that they are now one step closer to finding a family.

Our deepest gratitude to you, our Virginia's Kids Belong community of support, for helping us create such a special event. We're back in the Richmond area in June and in SWVA in August. Volunteers are being recruited NOW! We need your piece of the puzzle!

We are open to doing outdoor sessions for portraits/headshots photographed at a safe distance per CDC guidelines. We will wear a mask, use hand sanitizer, and maintain a safe distance at all times. Reschedule your session if you have any symptoms related to Covid-19 or if you have been in an area where you think you could have been exposed to the virus. Thank you for your understanding.
