Remember that session I did a couple weeks ago… the one I was so excited about? (I mean I’m excited about all of them.. but hint.. I drop she’s a grandma 2x!) The one where I got to meet this incredible woman who was in the middle of reclaiming herself…

She’s done the mommy thing. She’s fully embracing her grandma era. She’s spent years pouring into everyone around her, loving deeply, showing up endlessly… but this time, she was finally ready to choose her.

Not for her husband. (But wait until he gets a look at her album 🔥)
Not for validation.
Not because she needed attention.

She did this because somewhere along the way, she realized she missed herself.

Her softness.
Her intimacy.
Her femininity.
Her inner goddess.

And watching her walk into the studio nervous, excited, and completely giddy was honestly magic.
We laughed so hard my belly hurt. Between the giggles and the quiet moments in between, I watched a woman slowly reconnect with pieces of herself she had tucked away for far too long.

That’s the part people don’t always understand about this experience.
It’s not just about the photos.
It’s permission.
Permission to step outside of the roles we carry every day and remember that beneath being “mom,” “wife,” “grandma,” caretaker, fixer, giver… there is still a woman deserving of love, attention, sensuality, softness, and care too.

Pouring back into your womanhood is not selfish.It’s necessary. 🌿

And seeing women choose themselves, will never stop feeling sacred to me.
