Before August ends, I want to take the time to acknowledge Bri for being with X&V photography for FIVE years.

Bri was hired as an assistant in August but it didn’t take long to realize that she had so much potential behind the camera. Over the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of watching her grow into an incredibly talented photographer.

I’ll never forget how nervous she was before shooting her very first appointment alone and fast forward to now - seeing her confidence, creativity, and talent continue to grow has been so amazing to witness!

She has truly worked hard at her craft and continues to get better with every session. I’m so proud of the photographer she has become and excited to see where her talent takes her next!

X&V are officially 18 today

It feels like just yesterday they were little, and somehow, in what feels like a blink of an eye, they’ve grown into young adults. The years truly do fly by faster than we ever expect.

Being a photographer has given me a unique perspective on just how precious time really is. I get to witness and capture so many special moments—birthdays, milestones, celebrations, and the simple moments in between. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that one day, these photographs become more than just pictures… they become little pieces of time that we can hold onto.

So take the photos.

Because time doesn’t slow down, and one day, these photos will allow us to travel back and relive the beautiful moments.

Happy 18th birthday to my twins Xian & Violette.
