Closing the book on my big-ass 2025 calendar and stepping into 2026 with a full heart and a clear plan.

2025 didn’t happen by accident — it happened because it was written down.

• 8 RV trips
• 6 family trips
• 5 work-trip masterminds
• 492 days of run streaking (500 hits the first week of January 👟🔥)
• Revenue records broken
• Our family moved to Georgia

What a year.

2026 also marks year five in Calendar Club — and I don’t take that lightly. This community changed how I plan, how I move, and how I live. Putting things on the calendar. Writing them down. Making space for family. Setting business goals and actually hitting them.

Grateful doesn’t even cover it.

Huge respect to Jesse for creating a way of life that proves momentum comes from intention. And appreciation for the Calendar Club community — you push me to show up sharper every year.

This year we went custom with the title:
“1% Better Every Day.”

No hype. No shortcuts. Just stacking days and letting the calendar do what it does best.

Onward to 2026. 📆🔥

The Montessori Mile 🏃‍♂️🌳

Today I ran a fun 1-mile race at my kids’ new school, Springmont Montessori — the first Montessori school in Atlanta.

We moved here in July for the trees, nature, seasons, and space… but one of our biggest priorities was our kids’ school. We’ve always loved the Montessori philosophy, and after moving from Florida, we finally found one that feels like home.

Every October, the school hosts the Montessori Mile — and this year marked the 30th anniversary. They close down the road, and families come together to cheer, laugh, and run. The kids race, the parents race — it’s a day filled with joy and community.

Of course, me being on a 400+ day run streak, I had to join in. This was my mile for the day. I decided to go all in, even though it was “just for fun,” and ended up finishing second place.

But the real win wasn’t the ribbon.
It was being there — fully. Watching my kids smile, hearing them cheer, and sharing the experience with them.

Showing up for them means more than just attending events. It’s about living in a way that shows them what consistency, effort, and gratitude look like. That even small moments — like a one-mile race — are opportunities to be present, to participate, and to give your best.

The reason I could run a 7:30 mile today is because I’ve shown up every single day for over a year — most days alone, no race, no crowd — just gratitude for movement.

Because when race day comes, it’s not really about the race.
It’s about every day before it — the practice, the intention, and the love that carry you there.
