New on Seen in My Lens: Alaska

Our latest story follows Dave and me from Kenai Fjords Glacier Lodge to Kenai Riverside Lodge — two very different Alaska experiences, from remote Pedersen Lagoon to life along the Kenai River.

This part of the trip gave me time to photograph, explore, and simply take in the landscape in a different way.

Some places are memorable because of the wildlife you see there. Others stay with you because of the feeling of living inside them.

This week on Seen in My Lens: Alaska, I’m sharing Camp Denali — a remote wilderness lodge deep inside Denali National Park where naturalist-led excursions, rainy tundra days, shared meals, warm cabins, and a strong sense of community all became part of the experience.

The wildlife was unforgettable, but so was the feeling of learning, exploring, and slowing into life inside the park itself.
