Tesla is an American owned car company, that has been an iconic symbol of American craftsmanship. In fact, this fine tuned vehicle has made its way into modern pop culture, and is now considered a status symbol of the wealthy. In well to do neighborhoods throughout California, the once prominent and distinguished Lamborghini, has been replaced with the all electric Tesla.

While this story is a marketing feat in itself, this is a preferred vehicle for many reasons. Here are a few selling points and features this electric vehicle is known for:

155 MPH Top speed
691HP Motor Power
Up to 270 Mile Range per charge
Optional All Wheel Drive
Touchscreen Controls
All Electric Vehicle

California is happy to have this factory located in Fremont, CA as of 2010. This was once a GM Factory assembly, although is now operated by Tesla production plant. Here are few specs about this facility, that was pulled from Wikipedia:

370 Acres
Employs close to 3000 workers
Delivered around 70,000 vehicles since 2008

If you happen to be fortunate to own or have a friend that owns this vehicle, the facility does offer tours. If so, here is the address of the Tesla Manufacturing facility:

45500 Fremont Boulevard, Fremont, CA 94538

What is the Palace of Fine Arts? This is a well known photo opportunity hot spot in San Francisco for locals and tourists alike. Once you have visited this magnificent property, you will understand why many couples choose this location for the wedding photos that will last a lifetime (Or a few hours in Las Vegas Britney!).

These Greek and Roman architecture inspired structures were erected in 1915 for the Panama Pacific Exposition to display works of art during the event. So naturally, these structures were built for temporary use, and were not meant to be long standing. The original structures were built with wood and plaster. Because of this, the structure soon transformed into an actual "Crumbling Ruin". Fortunately for the people of San Francisco, it was lobbied to make this a more permanent structure within the city in 1964. The new structure was placed with cement and steel, so hopefully this will remain for generations to come.

Here are few uses of the structures, over the years:

Military Storage
Tennis Courts
City Park Department Warehouse
Telephone Book Distribution Center
Flag and Tent Storage Depot
Temporary Fire Headquarters
Exploratorium Museum
Palace of Fine Arts Theater

So if you are happen to be in San Francisco, be sure to stop by and take a few photos you will be proud to hang on your wall.

Here we have an example of commercial real estate photo editing. In the pre edit photo, you can see the emphasis is not on the asset, although focused on the miscellaneous cars and cones that are in the side area.

For this commercial real estate photo, here is what our team edited:

Adjusted the color and lighting to place the emphasis on the building which is most important
Cropped the vehicles out
Removed the orange cones which were not necessary
Adjusted perspective
Lightened skies
Enhanced lighting

This building is located in the Bayview District of San Francisco in Southeastern San Francisco. Depending on your age, this part of town made world media in 1966. After years of marginalization and segregation, the local community united, and brought light to the "Part of San Francisco, America pretends does not exist".

$8 Dollar Photo Editing

San Francisco is home to many world renowned tourist attractions. While the Golden Gate Bridge may be the first site that comes to mind when you think of San Francisco, the famous bridge draws in less of a crowd than the famed "Chinatown" in San Francisco annually.

According to the Chinatown San Francisco Wikipedia page, this well known part of town is the oldest Chinatown in North America, AND is home to the largest Chinese community outside of Asia. Because of the heavy influence from our neighbors from the Far East, it is a great place to visit and eat Chinese cuisine such as Dim Sum. China is a very large country, with all types of cuisine. Many of the restaurants here, cater to the Guangdong Province in Southern China.

I must warn you, be careful! Not that this is a dangerous neighborhood, but because of the inevitable tourist traps throughout. Anywhere that draws more of a crowd than the Golden Gate bridge, is bound to have a few business looking to take advantage of the tourist groups!

If you can make it past the tourist traps, there are some really beautiful buildings to photograph here. after the earthquake in 1906, Chinatown was almost completely destroyed like the rest of the city. So most of these beautiful buildings photographed are a hundred years old.

San Francisco is just one of those cities, that blends the old and the new together in harmony.

Okay, maybe not always. At least we try!

Here in the San Francisco Bay Area, we are closely associated with cool weather, and lots of rain. However, this year has been quite an exception. Often we have been blessed with beautiful weather, fine enough for afternoon walks. My over joyous description of the weather, does not reflect our need for water in California though!

The photo above was taken with a Canon T4i with the San Francisco daytime skyline in the distance. I feel like the pricey yacht in the background, is a usual characteristic of the wealthy individuals and companies that call the Bay Area home.

Scomas is a local, tourist favorite located in Sausalito. The view here is fabulous, and something that is definitely picture worthy! According to the restaurant website, this business has been in operation by the same family since 1965!

While most photos that are taken in Sausalito are beautiful as is, we decided to place the emphasis and lighting on this fine local restaurant. The color and lighting were adjusted to reflect this. All parts of this photo play a critical role in describing the area, so no obstructions were removed.

Chateau Tivoli

On a nice afternoon stroll, we were able to capture this photo with a Canon t4i. Another great example of Victorian Era architecture in San Francisco.

According to the website of the current bed and breakfast, this home was built in 1892 by the famed architect Mr. William H Armitage. This home has a long history spanning over the years with multiple purposes including a home for girls, Jewish Organization, Single Family Residence, and currently a Bed and Breakfast.

In the photos, you can see that our Basic Real Estate Photo Edit really brings out the colors and beauty a home like this deserves. Without proper post production of photos, many of the architectural details are blended with the rest of the photo.

Our Hotel photo editing service, can help your brochures and websites look warm and inviting. Which in turn, may help conversions and bookings. When shopping for a hotel online, a great photo is usually an important piece of deciding which property to stay at.

If you would like to learn more about this wondrous building, take a look at The Chateau Tivoli website here.

If you have ever been fortunate enough to visit this iconic city, you may have been swindled into purchasing a $.10 Cent postcard for $.99 Cents. If so, chances are this notable scene was on the front. Many folks refer to this location as the "Painted Ladies". When, in fact, there are plenty of painted ladies throughout San Francisco!

The name Painted Ladies refers to a group of Victorian or Edwardian homes that are painted with three or more colors to really highlight the details and craftsmanship of the structures. This set of homes located on Steiner Street in San Francisco is likely the most photographed group of painted ladies. In fact, depending on your age, you may even recognize these home from the opening scene of a little known show Full House.

Here are the addresses of these homes, in case you find yourself looking for a great tourist photo opportunity!:

-710 Steiner Street, San Francisco, CA 94117
-712 Steiner Street, San Francisco, CA 94117
-714 Steiner Street, San Francisco, CA 94117
-716 Steiner Street, San Francisco, CA 94117
-718 Steiner Street, San Francisco, CA 94117
-720 Steiner Street, San Francisco, CA 94117

After WWI and WWII, this region had a surplus of warship paint used for vessels. Because of this, often times it was used to paint the homes in the area. Of course, over time, this color choice has changed. Could you imagine all of the beautiful homes in San Francisco painted in a dark and somber metal grey?

These photos were taken with a Canon T4I.

The home located at 1409 Sutter St, San Francisco, CA is known as the Payne Mansion. It was erected in the year 1881 for the Mr. Theodore F Payne. This is a great depiction of the Victorian era homes San Francisco is well known for. This street scene shows the enhancement to lighting and colors to really display the fine details that were painstakingly fabricated into this 130 year old home.

You may wonder how someone was able to have afforded such an extravagant home in this early years. It turns out, the wife of Mr. Payne was Mary Pauline. She was the niece of a very wealthy person you may have heard of: William S O'Brien. One of the Comstock Silver Kings.

In modern times, you may look at this fine home, and yearn to purchase it for your collection. At this time, it is being used as the Payne Mansion Hotel. I would encourage you to stay here first, before placing an offer to purchase. The most recent sales price tag was a whopping $13,950,000.oo. No that was not a typo, almost fourteen million dollars. Considering this home boasts 17,000 interior square feet, it seems to be a great value considering many homes in San Francisco sell for over $1000 per square foot!

I hope you enjoy this photo that was snapped quickly with an iPhone 6.
