I have to say, real estate photography is a whole different animal—and I’m really enjoying it! Every space is like solving a creative puzzle, paying close attention to vertical and horizontal lines, leading lines, composition, and the best angles to showcase a home’s unique character.

It’s also a fun change of pace from my usual high-energy portrait sessions spent chasing little ones around for an hour! 😄 There’s something peaceful about photographing an empty home and taking the time to perfect each shot.

We also offer drone photography to showcase the property’s exterior, lot, neighborhood, and surrounding views, giving potential buyers an even better perspective.

Too many cute images I don’t know how to choose from this session! 🌸 This is a studio session but it looks like an in-home session right? I love the pure energy of this session. When there are too much giggles that means the images will turn out great! 😁 This mama coordinated everyone’s outfits nicely. When you don’t know what to do with the outfits, choose earthy colors: white, beige, brown, washed jeans, sage green. For the second outfit, you can have fun with a pop of color, or go completely monotone!

Oh my this photoshoot gave me the most uncomfortable eek feeling! We forced ourselves to shoot mid-day in full sun! That usually means lots of blown out hot spots on the faces and harsh shadows. We worked hard to create poses that wont show all the bad effects of shooting in the sun. 👀 I have a whole different editing techniques for these images- less contrast, lower highlights, softer black etc. The couple was so great and sweet! And I love the results. I’ll incorporate more front lit images in my gallery moving on! Do you like these images? Or can you even tell which ones are back-kit and which ones are front-kit? 😆

Effortless Maddy ✨️🌹⁠
I love how effortless and unposed she is—simply beautiful. That’s a gift.

One of my favorite things about portrait photography is capturing people as they naturally are, both physically and emotionally. Most people feel a little stiff or awkward in front of the camera and aren't quite sure what to do with their hands, body, or expression. Don't worry—that's completely normal!

Part of my job is to gently guide my subjects into poses that feel comfortable and authentic. When I see a genuine expression and natural body language, that's when I click the shutter.

But I especially love those moments when everything just comes naturally—when the subject isn't trying too hard and simply feels like themselves. Those are often the images that feel the most honest and timeless.

How do you feel about being in front of the camera? Do you prefer a little guidance, or are you completely comfortable just being yourself?

Look at these adorable sisters who came to my School Portrait Pop-Up Event! 💕 And of course, a special guest appearance by Mr. Baby Chick 🐥

Twice a year, I host these fun and quick school portrait events at my home studio in San Carlos. The session takes just a few minutes, but the goal is simple: beautiful, timeless portraits that focus on your child's personality.

Unlike traditional school photos, these portraits are carefully crafted, and I also offer sibling photos together—something most school portrait companies don't provide!

I love photographing these boys year after year. They are the sweetest, and their smiles are truly contagious! ❤️

One of my favorite things about my School Portrait Pop-Up Events is getting to document how much children grow and change from one year to the next. These portraits become such a meaningful record of a season that passes all too quickly.
