Longish post bare with me. In November my garage was robbed and the camera I use for my wetplate portraits was stolen, an 8x10 Deardorff along with three backs and several lenses. In order to fund their replacement and get back up and running I’m selling this 11x14 Folmer and Schwing studio camera and Century stand. I sent the rear standard to Texas, where master woodworker and camera maker Ty Guillory custom built an 11x14 wetplate back, ground glass, and inserts for four plate sizes. It also comes with a Model 8 sliding 8x10 back. The camera is in perfect working condition and is absolutely gorgeous, bellows are light tight and nice and soft, the stand works great. The lens is for sale separately and is an 18” f4 Wollensak Verito diffused focus lens. The glass is perfect. I’m in San Diego local pick up is preferred, but I can drive a couple hours for a drop off. I’m looking to get three grand for the camera, I’ll make a deal if you get the lens also.
