Bead Island Inc. is pleased to offer these vibrant and gorgeous Bologatanga Baskets from Ghana! By purchasing one of these beautiful baskets, you are helping to keep a beautiful African tradition alive. In addition, you are helping to support the wonderful people who make these baskets, many of whom rely on the sale of these baskets for their sole income.

These baskets are hand woven with sustainable Elephant Grass. The handles are made from a smooth goat skin. No two baskets are alike! Grab them while they’re still available! All baskets can be reshaped by submerging in water. These photos were taken prior to being re-shaped and most will need to be re-shaped after being shipped.

We are offering three types in a variety of patterns and colors: the Hunny Pot, the U Shopper, and the Oval Shopper. These baskets are perfect for a summer tote, a beach bag, shopping bag, or as decoration in your home.
