I don’t always post photos of my kids, but when I do you bet your t**h they’re headed to SCHOOL! If these last 6 months have taught me anything it’s that we love structure, other people and getting out of this house, so today we celebrate!!! I’m going to miss them, hugging them, talking with them and enjoying their presence but this is a good change and we all need it. I’m so thankful for the teachers at their school who want to be back more then we do, and who are doing the best they can in an awful situation they are all hero’s! But let’s be honest, the quiet is really amazing and I’m on track to get more done is 6 hours then I have in 7 months 😆 I can’t wait to hear all about it have a great day Babies!!!!

It’s Sunday night and I know realistically most of you won’t see this but I’m posting it anyway bc tomorrow I have to start homeschool and I’ll have too much to do and will forget 😂

Last Saturday night I made this French toast casserole and let it sit for the night, first thing Sunday morning I put it in the over and my kids drooled for 45 mins while it filled the house with the best cinnamon, breakfesty smell ever. So I’m posting this tonight bc maybe you have bread and eggs and blueberries and like me want to start your Monday morning off right.

We can do this friends, whether your working, not working, homeschooling, not homeschooling, schedule vs no schedule, we can can make it. And if you need cake or cookies or frenchtoast bake let me know bc I’ll point you in the right direction bc ☺️😘.

Praying for you all friends let’s finish the week with all kids still alive and having all their fingers and toes... we can do this! 🤩💪🏻💪🏻

Made a double batch of taco soups last night. It was so yummy and it was good for my soul. Not going to lie I’m struggle along with everyone. Re learning how to homeschool and work at the same time is frustrating but challenging. I’m clinging to the only thing I can right now that God’s plan is bigger and His grace is enough to fill this day. We can do this together one day, one minute at a time!!! I’d love to hear what kind of favorite recipes you guys are cooking in this time, anyone making some delicious comfort food?!!!

PSA... I’ve gotten a few questions about whether or not I’m still doing family and portrait photography and my answer is...
YES!!!
I don’t mean to be confusing really, I totally get how people would wonder and be confused...

Last fall I did 15 sessions... some of my FAVORITE people... did I put any of them up on fb or ig??

NOPE!

I totally went through a “I hate social media” phase and slowly... I’m still learning how to integrate it back into my life without letting control me.

I also felt weird talking about personal things with a families beautiful face so I could never think of something to say.

I’m working on that too, figuring out how to show and share without being too much... it’s all a daily process!!!

All this to say, I’m working on myself, my business and most importantly serving and loving my family and those amazing clients who hire me to bring their products (or families!) to life!

So thank you for being patient and sticking around, I promise to keep it real and fun! 😜

Day 3 of girls week away.
