For authors and speakers especially, the business portrait has to hold more than appearance. It has to feel connected to the voice behind the work.

Also, you need to book a Branding Session ASAP. Don't over think it, just do it lol 😭 🤣

I carried each vase into the dunes. It was cool out but the sun was even more brutal than the wind advisory.

I found a little nook hiding from the wind and played with the light and angles.

The original plan was foiled by the wind but in the end, the cleaner lines worked.

The curve of the ceramic textures against the organic sand was enough. The surface of the piece holding its own in all the open space.

Some objects can do all the work on their own. The just need the right light and space to exist.

Four years ago.

The video still feels the same when I watch it back.

These Studies are more about creativity and experience, what catches your eye, what happens when you stop trying to perfect every frame. This one taught me a lot.

The older the work gets, the more obvious it becomes which moments truly had something real underneath them.

His posture, eye contact, the way he held himself with more confidence. I didn’t need to direct too much after that.

Sometimes it’s not about doing more..it’s about finding the version you that actually fits. And the one that fits, is always the one where you feel aligned with your Identity.
