You don’t need a passport to have a wedding that feels like it belongs in the European countryside.

Some of my favorite venues around Philadelphia bring that old-world feeling much closer to home, but each does it a little differently.

If your vision is formal gardens and Italianate details, there’s Longwood Gardens.

For a quiet countryside estate, Appleford.

A Gilded Age mansion overlooking the water, Glen Foerd.

An English garden celebration surrounded by mature trees: Tyler Arboretum.

The stone mansion and grounds of Parque at Ridley Creek offer something that feels straight out of the English countryside.

And Tyler Gardens for terraces, fountains, stonework and a French-Norman château backdrop.

What I especially love about venues like these is that the setting becomes part of the wedding experience, not simply a backdrop for the photographs.

A little glimpse at what the last few weeks have looked like around here. 🤍

Since relocating to Philadelphia, I’ve been spending a lot of time getting to know this corner of the East Coast beyond what I can find online.

Walking through gardens and historic estates. Exploring Philadelphia and Princeton with my camera. Visiting venues. Paying attention to the architecture, the light, and all the little places that could become incredible backdrops for photographs someday.

But just as importantly, I’ve been getting to know the people here.

I’ve been attending industry events, meeting planners and venue teams, having conversations with other wedding professionals, and slowly beginning to build a community in a place that was completely new to me only a few months ago.

There’s still so much I want to see and so many people I want to meet, but it’s been really exciting watching Philadelphia and the East Coast begin to feel less like the place I moved to and more like home.

And I have a feeling we’re only getting started. 🤍

There are beautiful wedding photos, and then there are the moments that make you feel something every time you look back.

My goal has never been to simply document a wedding day. It's to create a space where you can be fully present, knowing someone is quietly looking after the details, guiding you when needed, and preserving the moments you didn't even realize were happening.

Reading reviews like Charlotte's means more than I can put into words. Knowing my couples felt cared for, supported, and genuinely enjoyed their experience is every bit as important to me as the photographs themselves.

Garden paths, handwritten vows, happy tears, and a dance floor that stayed full all night. 🌿✨

Charlotte and Anup's Tyler Arboretum wedding was the perfect reminder that the most meaningful celebrations are the ones that feel completely like you. Every detail reflected their personalities, from the colorful florals to the intimate ceremony surrounded by family and friends.

One of my favorite parts of the day was watching everyone settle into the moment. The laughter during the ceremony, quiet glances during portraits, and the energy on the dance floor all told the story of a wedding that wasn't about perfection. It was about connection.

As a Philadelphia wedding photographer, these are the moments I look for. The genuine smiles, the in-between moments, and the memories you'll want to relive years from now.

There is something about Cape Cod that makes you slow down.

Michelle and Joseph wanted Cape Cod engagement photos that felt natural. No stiff poses. No pressure. Just photographs that reflected who they are together.

So we wandered through downtown Chatham, walked barefoot on the beach, explored the dunes, and let the evening unfold.

A few days after I delivered their gallery, Michelle sent me this:

"We just reviewed each of the photos and we love them all so much! The angles, lighting, everything looks so perfect. I feel like you also captured us in relaxed, natural poses. Nothing looks forced. I am just absolutely in love with the photos."

That is always the goal.
