My mother Debbie... she has been sick with a severe mental illness for as long as I can remember.
We haven't seen her in 6 years because her illness progressed to the point where she's homeless and no longer communicates with me or my siblings.
She loves her 6 children fiercely and gave her life to protecting and providing for us until her illness took over.

Alma’s 100th Birthday Celebration!!! What a blessing to experience and capture such an important day... with over 100 friends, family and loved ones gathering in honor of her longevity and celebrating her life! ⠀
Alma ride's her exercise bike for thirty minute's everyday and does crossword puzzles. She started using a walker only one year ago because family insisted... and her biggest concern about using it was that the walker would make her look OLD... he he lol ⠀
Alma your smile is contagious! Right before I left the Event Alma grabbed my hand, looked at me in the eye's and whispered "God is Good!" Happy 100th Birthday to you Alma! ⠀

This wedding in Sept. 2017 was such a significant event...⠀⠀

The best man was stuck in Hurricane Irma. He had decided it was too risky to travel and leave the kids behind while the Hurricane hit. ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
A virtual FACETIME photo of the Groom and Best Man would have to make do...⠀⠀
⠀⠀
So technically I photographed a person in Hurricane Irma (the strongest storm on record to exist in the open Atlantic regions) while living in Safe Sunny Cali... How cool is that?!? ⠀⠀

After the wedding I went home and cried all night... horrified by the thought of my own fragile and sick mother in the storm.

Ostler Boys... 2017 Seriously 😳 how did they get so big... Lincoln my baby is 6, Jackson is 10 and Ty is 8 years old. Their ❤️ utterly amazes me. What a blessing to watch them grow and develop into men. 😩 they are getting big way too fast... Cheers to the sweetest mama’s boys you will ever meet.
