Man, what a run of surf and weather this past week at home. Put a lil collage together of a few moments I shot between surfs. Always grateful when all the elements come together and to have them do so multiple times in a week, just makes it that much better. My arms are noodles and surf cup is overflowing! 🙏🏽

First off, my heart goes out to and the rest of the fam.

was truly a one of a kind. Her wisdom came from an old soul and she had a presence anywhere she went, no doubt.

It’s sure been a pleasure traveling the world with her. There’s no better feeling after a long shownite than finally going to crawl in my bunk on the bus at 2am and having Cocoa posted up inside. What a blessing.

Cocoa will definitely be missed, but her legend will live forever.

Change is the only constant…almost everyday I go to surf, the San Luis Rey river reveals a new bend, new light, new mood. Sometimes it’s dark and angry, sometimes colorful and peaceful…a reminder that nature is never static.

Woke up at 1 am this morning at about 10,000 ft elevation to the first snow flurries of the season in Brian Head, UT and drove down to mountain a couple hours to catch an early flight back to CA. Flew into Carlsbad during the first significant storm of the season at lunchtime and made it to the coast as the rains stopped and the skies started to part. Glad I got over to the strand as pools of water were everywhere and reflections presented themselves with the color of the sky above. 🌅🙏🏽
