About 20 years ago, I attended my first Miss Continental pageant. A year later, I took this photo of the newly crowned court, and the man responsible for it all, Mr. Jim Flint. A few months later all of them were in my garage studio in Florida doing a photo shoot, and the rest is history. The friendships built from that one evening, have changed my life in the best possible ways. I’d like to share some memories from the archives this week, as we approach the next Mr. and Miss Continental pageant this weekend in Chicago.
It’s been two years since Ive been able to travel for anything other than work, family, marriage and building our dream compound here in San Diego. Worthwhile sacrifices for sure, however, I have missed my chosen family and community, immeasurably.
There’s only one thing to do about that I suppose, so if you’re heading to Mr. or Miss Continental this weekend, chances are I’ll see you there. 🤗✈️❤️🕺🏼👑
