A post sharing my gratitude… So incredibly honored to receive platinum in the International Photo Competition hosted by PPA at Imaging USA 2026. I couldn’t attend this year (photography conventions are officially on my bucket list!), but the recognition still is an honor.
I also received two Bronze placements in 2025, plus additional ribbons at the 2025 San Diego County Fair for the same images—which I forgot to post about on my permanent feed until now, so they’re included in this carousel. Special thank you for the opportunity to be a panelist in the top performing artists last summer as well!
Thank you to every client who has trusted me with your most meaningful moments, and to everyone who has supported, shared, and believed in my work along the way. This wouldn’t be possible without you.
Being recognized and awarded for my work feels validating. But I’m not doing all this for a ribbon. I value community over competition. The people I’ve connected with over the years fuel me to be a better photographer out of love for the art. I only want to be better than the photographer I was last year so I can continue creating meaningful, timeless images for the next generation. I’m endlessly grateful to be part of a community that lifts one another up, celebrates growth, and reminds me why I fell in love with this art in the first place.
