The Gemsbok is a large antelope native to the Kalahari region of southern Africa. They’re famous for their sword-like horns, muscular build, and ability to live in some of the driest landscapes on earth. Them and their close relative, the Scimitar Oryx, have both adapted excellently to central Texas. See if you can spot the herd next time you are on the ranch!

While we are safe and sound, we are absolutely heartbroken to see a place we hold so dear overcome by tragedy and destruction as a result of the flooding that ravaged the Hill Country this weekend. Even in the wake of a disaster like this we still believe there is a God who is in control and we urge everyone to continue praying for those impacted.

We pray for those who have lost loved ones.

We pray for those who are still missing.

We pray for the first responders who continue working tirelessly to rescue and recover more.

We pray for those who have lost everything.

Lord please have your hand over the continued response and long recovery ahead.
