As World Breastfeeding Week comes to an end, I just want to take a moment to say thank you.🤍

What started as a simple idea six years ago has become something that holds such a special place in my heart. Every year I get to meet new mamas and babies, reconnect with families I've photographed before, and witness these beautiful little moments of motherhood.

To every mama who has trusted me to capture these moments, thank you. I hope you know just how amazing you are. Every breastfeeding journey looks different and whether it has been easy, difficult, joyful, exhausting, short-lived, or somewhere in between, you are doing an incredible job.

Six years of these sessions and I'm still just as grateful that I get to do this.

You are seen. You are celebrated. And you are doing an amazing job mamas.🤍

Whether you’ve spent months perfecting your birth preferences or you’re "going with the flow," the moment things take an unexpected turn can feel like a whirlwind.

In those moments, the room can get loud and things can start to move fast. It’s okay to feel overwhelmed or even disappointed but remember, you are still the center of this story.

As your doula, I am the calm in that storm.

My job isn’t to stick to a piece of paper, it’s to stick to you.

I’m there to help you hit the "pause" button, ask the important questions, and ensure you have the information you need to make the best decision for your body and your baby. Whether the plan changes slightly or completely, I am right there, steady and grounded.

You deserve to feel safe, seen, and supported. No matter how your birth unfolds. 🤍
