I used to work for a mortgage company, in a very tall building, filled with hundreds of tiny cubicles. I decided I wanted to stay home and raise him. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. (Add a baby girl to the mix, and now life is also LOUD and a bit crazy.) As a stay-at-home mom I got my first DSLR camera to take pictures of my little one. Everything just clicked. Okay, that was ch

eesy. Really though, when I picked up that camera for the first time it felt so natural. It was just a matter of time before Sheila Ybarra . Photography was born. I have always enjoyed photography. It began as an escape/hobby years ago with a little digital camera, but since owning my DSLR I have learned so much more about the technical aspects, and developed an even greater passion for it. I am a natural light, lifestyle and portrait photographer. I am currently taking pictures of babies, kids, families, seniors, and engaged couples. So basically, everyone. Hello everyone! Some of you have already heard the news, but I wanted to make it official... I'M BACK! Thank you all for your patience as my family and I focused on a different aspect of our lives. A new chapter has begun, and with it, the opportunity to return to something I love... photography.
