Throwback to my very first wedding gig, almost 14 years ago (July 23, 2010)! I can’t help but laugh at the fresh-faced, excited, and slightly terrified 20-something Ashley who took that leap. Fast forward to now—after countless weddings, lessons learned, and a bit more wisdom—I’m incredibly grateful for every step of the journey. Life is a beautiful adventure, and growth is the only way to truly embrace it! 🌻

There's something special about seeing your work printed and displayed in a client's home. Makes me feel mushy gushy inside!

Attended a free glow aqua Zumba class at a beautiful San Antonio park and it was SO MUCH FUN!! 🎉

I was totally on the fence about going. It was a half hour away. It started at 7:45. I didn’t have anyone to go with.

I wrestled with all of my excuses for a good few hours but then I had to remind myself of who I want to be, what my values are, and remember that I want to build community and spread joy! I convinced myself to go to something SUPER FUN, even though I could’ve succumbed to my lame excuses.

Sometimes you gotta step out of your comfort zone to experience growth and live a life others won’t. It doesn’t always turn out as fun and joy-filled as tonight did, but I’ve never regretted pushing past my self-imposed limits.

So I urge you to push past your limits this week! Go try some Zumba! (Or whatever you have an excuse not to do but you know you should 😊)

Also, this city is so fun!!! I’m grateful for the opportunity to live here and experience all it has to offer!

Enjoying the beauty of my new-ish state. I discovered Guadalupe River State Park earlier this year and was enamored with the river and cliff where some birds (I don’t remember what kind) like to hang. Being from Michigan, I miss the water so this was a special treat in Central Texas!

Marshall and I at the St Joseph Lighthouses - new lighthouses checked off the list (there are two of them)!

Fun fact: My family has close ties to St Joseph, as my great grandfather, Drake Logan, was the creator and owner of the Silver Beach Amusement Park in the early 1900s. I would’ve loved to visit (but sadly it close in 1971).

Another fun fact: This is my first time visiting St Joe’s. So lovely! Too bad we live in Tejas now so we can’t easily come back.
