To all the photographers who follow me…would you believe me if I told you that I used a 55Ws speedlight as my main light source for each of these photos?
I know this…if you were to tell me this about 6/7 years ago, I would call you a liar.
Godox send met the GODOX V1 mid, a 55Ws version of their 75Ws V1, to test and review!
Miss Ray came out and showed off her new hair style just for these photos!

When it works just as it should!
I shot these photos and more while reviewing the Zhiyun Molus G300. It’s a BiColor 300w LED that has a 500w Extreme mode.
For some of these photos, I paired the G300 with the Molus 100X RGB for the ‘window’ light and strip light.

With great power comes great responsibility…oh wait. Wrong quote.
For years I’ve been using a 600w strobe for about 90% of my portraits. Over the last 5 weeks, I’ve use a 120W strobe for 99% of my portraits and the other 1% was because I was reviewing an even less powered light.
The light I used here was the NEEWER Q120. It’s freaking phenomenal and it’s now my favorite light to use while on location.

Now on to their grad parties, summertime, and then off to college!!!
