These photos were taken using a process called 'Ultraviolet-Induced Visible Fluorescence' (UVIVF). It is achieved by creating a dark environment and illuminating the subject with special UV lights. These Ultraviolet wavelengths fall between visible light and x-тау.
Due to the chemical makeup of flowers, their petals, leaves, and pollen fluoresce when exposed to an ultraviolet light source revealing an incredible world that is invisible to the naked eye.
