Here is a sweet story and even one to have a giggle or two...so this young man is waiting to get tapped out by his family and I am there to capture the moment. This very cute grandma comes by and says excuse me and begins to tap this airman. He smiles at her and she begins to hug him. He is looking out at this moment for his mom. He continues the hug and she looks at him. This grandma looks at him and says, " Oh you are not my grandson! You look so alike!"
So now they both laugh about it LOL They move on to search for the other airman.
The important thing here is, this young man was raised right. He knows to have respect even when he knew this was not his grandma, he continued to hug her and she felt that special moment as she hugged her "grandson". Now for me, I was thinking, hmmm...so maybe we had a surprise family member show up and I continued to take photos! I am glad I did because this makes for a funny and sweet story. It just shows his character. I know his family is very proud of him 🥰

I am just in awe of how much joy it was to be with this family for their son's coin ceremony and graduation. They have raised this young man to be very respectful and loving to his family and friends. I know he will be very successful. I get so emotional seeing all these families coming together to do their tap out for their airmen. It was so fun seeing his family members talking and teasing him before his dad tapped him out.
