From rehearsal to the real thing. They practiced the dip at rehearsal… then absolutely nailed it at the end of the aisle on their wedding day.

If I’m available, I’d absolutely love to tag along to your rehearsal day 🤍 It gives me the chance to get familiar with the space and really understand how the light will be, especially in venues I haven’t photographed before! This helped us adjust where to stand during the ceremony too!

Sometimes the best locations aren’t the ones you plan, they’re the ones you stumble into 🤪

When these two told me about their favorite go to beach, I went to scout it beforehand. Since then, I’ve photographed multiple sessions here and it has become one of my favorite spots for the dreamiest sunsets.

The funny part, this wasn’t the beach they were talking about 😅. It was actually further down. But honestly, I think we ended up exactly where we were meant to be. It couldn’t have been a more perfect location to capture their engagement photos.

A little reminder that sometimes the “wrong” turn leads to the most unexpected finds! If you’re wanting a sunset session at a location that feels like you, I’d love to help you find it, planned or not 🤍

They were supposed to have lab together on a Saturday, but he didn’t show up. Somehow, that was the beginning of everything. Years later, for their anniversary we went back to their college for their first session with me returning to the place where it all started.

And on their wedding day, they brought parts of their story with them bringing those elements,literally, into their day and letting their love of science and each other show through in the most intentional details. It was a beautiful day honoring where they started while also marking the start of everything still to come 🤍

P+K. It’s been a joy getting to know you both over the years. And, I’m glad I can stop stalking your Instagram to see if you are finally married 😂 Happy 2 weeks!

There’s a kind of love that asks you to be brave.
The kind that pulls you a little deeper, a little closer, until the rest of the world fades into the horizon.
The kind that feels quiet and electric all at once.

Bruno Mars has been on repeat since his new album dropped, and I couldn’t think of a better session to share with this song than these two. P had just moved to Hawaii shortly before this session to be closer to J. Because sometimes love asks for a leap of faith, the kind that carries you across an ocean.

I moved here at just the right time.

A + J were honeymooning here and invited me along to document a small piece of it. The barefoot walks, the wind in their hair, that just-married kind of laughter with nowhere else to be.
