I’m trying to reframe the hard parts of needing to slow down. More time in bed, more waiting between doctor appointments, and more forced rest has also given me more time to breathe, heal, and pour into the parts of my creativity I don’t always get to focus on.

Lately, I’ve been using this season to learn, experiment, and play with different color theory techniques in Lightroom from bed and during the quiet moments in between dr appointments. I’m currently loving this warmer, more emotional look and how it brings a little extra magic into the final image.

Hi friends ❤️ I’m currently taking a short pause from most of my hobbies, and sadly this includes photography until I’m in a better place physically & have my husband by my side. For those who may not know, I’ve been dealing with some pretty serious medical issues, and right now I need to focus on my health and recovery. I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported Capturing Sunshine Photography and trusted me with their memories.

I hope to be back behind the camera as soon as my health is better hopefully next month.🤍
